Parents & Homecoming Weekend
Reserve October 20-23, 2011 for Parents and Homecoming weekend.
Thursday
Thursday evening will see Saint Paul Lady Saints volleyball team host their match at home beginning at 6:00 p.m. Both JV and V will play sets.
Following the Volleyball games, the evening will continue with a Bonfire, Pep Rally, Parent's Skit, Senior Hay Ride and the final football clue will be announced.
Friday
Parents are invited to visit classes on Friday with their student.
Football game will begin at 7:00 p.m. when the Saints will host the contest on their home field. The Parade of Parents and Athletes will precede game start, generally beginning at 6:30. Half time features the announcement of Homecoming Court and the crowning of our Homecoming King and Queen.
Saints Mens Soccer typically play in a Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
Following the football game there will be a World Party . Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the food and fellowship. Please bring several 2 liter bottles of soda and snacks to share with everyone. The students are always hungry and love these parties. Serving will begin after the football players arrive.
Students enjoy the Homecoming Dance that follows the game.
All times will be announced closer to the dates.
Saturday
Executive Director's Breakfast in Rev. Mehl's office begins at 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Teachers will be located in their classrooms and offices during the morning hours to accomodate parent consultations .
Lady Saints Varsity Volleyball often participates in an off site tournament throughout the day.
Saints Cross Country Team will host the home meet Saturday morning on campus.
Saints Men's Soccer Team continues play in the off site tournament.
Homecoming-Parent's Weekend Banquet will be served in Krueger Dining Hall in the evening along with the hosting of the wonderfully creative and delicious Dessert Auction.
The infamous Talent Show is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. in Kaeppel. The Talent Show will feature many acts and groups featuring our students and many of our faculty members.
Sunday
Worship services at St. Paul Lutheran Church will conclude our special weekend celebrations. A special guest preacher - often times an alumnus of SPC/SPCH/SPLHS - the Singing Saints Choir and instrumental features will add to our celebratory worship during the 8:00 a.m. service.
Sunday Bible Classes follow the 8:00 a.m. service.
