Academics

Saint Paul began its legacy of providing faith-based education in the finest Lutheran tradition in 1883. Its 40-acre campus includes academic classrooms, dormitories, a fine arts building, gymnasium, dining hall, outdoor track and sports fields, chapel, and new education conference center. The rigorous college preparatory curriculum offers more than 80 courses (link to curriculum page) to students from both local and boarding students in grades 9-12. With a student body of just over 200, Saint Paul offers small classes and a student-to-teacher ratio of 9 to 1. Teachers know their students, not just by name, but as individuals.

Instructors lead by example and seize every teachable moment whether in the classroom, on the playing field, or in the dormitory to teach academic and life lessons. You’ll have regular, supervised study sessions each evening to ensure you’re prepared for academic success. The fully wireless campus, large library, writing lab, and computer lab put the latest technology at your fingertips.

Saint Paul is accredited through the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges, the State of Missouri, and National Lutheran Schools. Advisors assist with college planning, including entrance exams and registration. More than 26 hours of college credit can be earned through the interactive learning program.
